Rabat – Royal Air Maroc announced it canceled two flights scheduled today to and from Amsterdam Schiphol airport due to weather conditions.
The affected flights include AT850 and AT851.
The Moroccan carrier pledged support for its customers by offering a refund for the ticket in its original form of payment or a free change of date upon availability to and from Amsterdam airport for a new travel date during the 15 days following the initial flight date.
Royal Air Maroc said its customers could also benefit from a free change of date upon availability to and from Brussels airport for a new travel date during the seven days following the initial flight date, as another option.
“It should be noted that for any change of destination, the possible difference in taxes must be borne by the passenger,” Royal Air Maroc said.
It also advised its customers to regularly check their flight status and ensure their contact details are up to date in the “manage my booking” section on its official website or via its mobile application.
“If you are traveling with other passengers under the same booking reference, kindly ensure they are also informed,” the national carrier added.
Morocco has also been facing severe weather with continued rainfall, snow, and strong winds.
Freezing weather is also expected to hit several provinces in the coming days, with temperatures expected at lower than -4 degrees in several regions.
