King Mohammed VI sent a message to Abdellatif Hammouchi in response to a letter of loyalty submitted on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The monarch said he received the message “with consideration and attention,” describing it as a gesture that reflects the significance of this institutional milestone. The anniversary marks seven decades since the creation of one of Morocco’s key security bodies.
In his message, the King paid tribute to national security personnel, commending their role in safeguarding public order and serving citizens.
“We commend the sincere and continuous efforts of the men and women of the national security, as well as their devotion and loyalty in carrying out their noble and demanding duties,” the King said.
He added that their work remains closely tied to the protection of national stability and the daily safety of citizens, noting their responsibility in maintaining order across the country.
King Mohammed VI also addressed Hammouchi and all components of the security institution with words of appreciation and support. He affirmed his “continued care, support and satisfaction” and prayed for their success in fulfilling their responsibilities with efficiency and dedication.
