Patrice Evra shared a video on his X account ahead of the highly anticipated quarter-final showdown, predicting 2-1 for Les Bleus while saying Morocco represent the entire African continent and have the potential to bring Africa its first-ever World Cup title if they defeat France.
“For me, Hakimi is the best right-back in the world. Nobody is close to him,” Evra stated. He added that Brahim Diaz was heavily criticized after missing the penalty in the AFCON 25 final, describing him as an incredible player and pointing to what he has shown with Real Madrid.
Evra emphasized that Morocco’s mission will be difficult, as they face what he described as the best French national team in history, even better than the 1998 generation, especially with a star-studded squad that sets them apart from the rest.
“We beat them in 2022, but this won’t be the same tonight. It won’t be easy at all,” Partice admitted.
Morocco are on the verge of making history tonight, with a golden opportunity to reach the semifinals for the second consecutive World Cup. Will the Atlas Lions impose their dominance, or will Les Bleus have the final say?
