Mr. El Hassane HZAINE has served as Director General of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the subsidiary organ of the OIC based in Casablanca, from 2011 till November 2019.
Prior joining the OIC, he began his career as Professor of international Affairs at Hassan II University of Casablanca, he became an Adviser in the International trade to IsDB Group, ICDT and the Social and Economic observatory of the Maghrib (OESMA).
He holds a Ph.D. in International relations and political science in 1993 from Hassan II University in Casablanca. He was awarded an Advanced Studies Certificate in international law from the Hague academy in Nederland’s in 1986 and from the European Institute in Strasbourg France in 1987.
