Rabat – Agadir’s Grand Stadium is set to witness an electrifying showdown today, as Raja Casablanca and AS FAR lock horns in the highly anticipated final of the Throne Cup for the 2022-2023 season.

Raja Casablanca vs AS FAR match will be broadcast live at 5 p.m. Moroccan local time on Moroccan television channel Arryadia.

This clash promises to be fiercely contested, marking the conclusion of a thrilling football season that has captivated fans throughout the competition.

In June 2024, Raja Casablanca made history in the Moroccan football league, or Botola, by becoming the first team to win the tournament without losing any matches, with 21 wins and 9 draws, securing their 13th Botola title unbeaten.

Raja’s triumph over AS FAR in both Botola Pro D 1 Inwi season encounters has fueled their determination to add the prestigious Throne Cup to their accolades.

After a remarkable season that saw them falter in the closing stages, AS FAR sees this final as a chance to salvage their campaign and end on a high note.

AS FAR is eager to turn the tables after narrowly losing the Botola title to Raja Casablanca.

Their motivation springs from the frustration of missing out on the league championship, and they see the Throne Cup final as a chance to overturn that outcome and finish the season on a high note.

Both teams are fueled by strong motivation and dedication, as players on both sides strive to secure the championship title for their respective teams.

Raja Casablanca advanced to the final after defeating Mouloudia Oujda with a hard-fought 4-3 win, whereas AS FAR secured their spot by overcoming Maghreb Fez (MAS) with a 2-0 victory.

The excitement extends beyond the pitch, with legions of supporters expected to fill the stands of Agadir’s Grand Stadium, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for the grand finale.

Officiating this pivotal match is referee Redouane Jiyed, adding an extra layer of significance to an already momentous occasion.

Expectations are high for a tightly contested match, promising a spectacle that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
