Rabat – Hakim Ziyech is officially not part of Chelsea’s plans for next season. After an aborted transfer to Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window, the Moroccan international continues to be on the radar of many European clubs as he tries to relaunch his career away from West London.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Chelsea are looking for a way out for Hakim Ziyech who is being courted by Italy’s AC Milan and Inter Milan, while PSG is also still after the Atlas Lion.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi appreciates the profile of Ziyech, Le Matin reported, adding that the Italian manager would like to take advantage of the 30-year-old midfielder’s situation to cover the departure of Ivan Perisic last summer and return to fight for Serie A.

Meanwhile, AC Milan has long shown interest in the Moroccan midfielder, with repeated reports over the past few months suggesting that the Italian club is keen to sign him.

Since joining Chelsea in 2020, Ziyech has scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists in 106 games. While the Moroccan won the Champions League and has been brilliant at times while playing for the West London team, his story with

When asked who should leave the club this summer, former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf  told ESPN: “Well, definitely Ziyech.” He added: “The guy is not happy, and he wants to work.” During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ziyech was in remarkable form and he established himself  well to push his team further in the competition, scoring 2 goals and giving 2 assists.

But the Moroccan playmaker has undergone a challenging season with Chelsea, and his performance has not been up to his inspiring level with the Moroccan national team at the World Cup or with his previous club Ajax.

“Every time he plays for Morocco, he’s the best player in the world, and every time he plays for Chelsea, he feels sad and lost,” Leboeuf continued, stressing: “I wish him to go somewhere else where he can show to the world he’s still the Ziyech that we have seen when he played for Ajax.”
