Rabat – Manchester City won the 2023 UEFA title after a 5-4 win against Sevilla at the final stage of the tournament on Wednesday at the Karaiskakis Stadium.
In the 25th minute of the game, Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri scored the first goal, giving his team a head start.
Moroccan striker En-Nesyri achieved a remarkable feat this year by netting 18 goals while playing for Sevilla. The impressive tally stands as the most goals scored by any player in LaLiga throughout all competitions in 2023.
In the 63rd minute of the game, Man City’s midfielder brought the match to a tie, scoring the first goal for his team.
As the game ended in a tie, Man City scored the first goal in panties delivered by Erling Haaland. Sivella followed soon after, scoring their first penalty delivered by Lucas Ocampos.
The round of penalties ended with a 5-4 win for Manchester City.
Sevilla has only clinched victory once in the ultimate confrontation. City, on the other hand, are this year’s defending champions.
